zmarcoz Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Dear all, I have problem with the global axis. I thought they were fixed, but it may not. Somehow I rotated the global axis NOT the model. I am not able to change it back. In other words, if I use the "rotate" function and try to see the front view of my model, it is not really the front view because of the global axis are rotated. May I know how to solve it. Thanks Quote
JD Mather Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I don't know what this means (actually I think I do, but just to be sure) can you attach screen shot here. You have not indicated whether this is in the part environment or the assembly environment. More information is needed. Quote
zmarcoz Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 It is the assembly environment. Thanks Quote
JD Mather Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 You still didn't post a screen shot as requested - so I'll take a wild guess. At some point you ungrounded the first part. If any parts are now grounded - unground them. Expand the assembly Origin Folder. Add Mate-Flush constraints between the XY-XY, YZ-YZ, XZ-XZ of the logical base part and the assembly planes (or whatever planes will give you the desired orientation). Then reground the logical base of the assembly. Quote
