JD Mather Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I would go ahead and correct the model rather than try to work with this model. What I meant is that if it were my work I would do this. I did not mean that I am going to do it for you. You already stated that you could fix it - so that is what you should do. You do not need to split the model. I would Subtract the model from a block and then split the block to create the core/cavity. Just for fun I might do the work later today - but my time is limited. (If I give it a try I won't be using an antiquated software like AutoCAD - I will use a modern program like Autodesk Inventor. I will use your scanned model only for reference in re-modeling the part correctly.) Quote

And with ACAD-2007 I planed that *.sat file.. and scared.. yes the dwg is completely broken and scattered.. how to convert any *.igs file into *.sat to work further with ACAD-2007. Pls guide.. FYI.. find the *.sat file converted using Pro-e drme_3dscan_shoehorn_Trial_260313.zip Quote
