Solid Hatch won't stretch

I just tried it with Jiggly's dwg....it kinda works, the hatch wants to pick up all the points from everything drawn under it. So it will work if you have the patience to match up all the points - probably not too cost effective. It will work however, if you have a simpler drawing....and considering we couldn't do it at all before, it is an improvement.

Thanks for the suggestions. It is not a very large area to be hatched, so I just moved the geometry to where I needed it and rehatched it. But it is a pain that a lot of the existing hatches do this, so I do a fair bit of re-hatching.

 

We are upgrading to a 3D software later this week, so I shouldn't have to deal with the issue for much longer!
