Where to find architectural models?

I know that solidworks isn't generally used for architectural applications but we think it will work well for our business.

 

I have been trying to find a site that has architectural type models (plumbing, fixtures, doors/hardware, windows etc) to download and use in my models.

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Try Solidworks site, if you have premium you should have piping, for the doors windows, etc. the manufacturer sites will be the best bet.

 

You might check Grabcad.

 

IMO you would likely be better off building your own, unless you get them from the manufacturer.

More manufacturer's are making models available.

I wouldn't trust a model you find anywhere else to be accurate

(even if it looks nice...)
