MissC
Hey guys, I havent been using autocad for long and i am still learning. Im interested in finding out the process from start to finish, with the finishing product being in autocad. Would a architect provide you with a drawn floor plan and then you would draw it up in auto cad? I hope someone can help as im interested in finding out. Thanks
ReMark
You might get a floor plan from an architect but it will probably be on paper not a CAD file. Are you interested in drawing a floor plan for an existing or new structure? I'm assuming it is a house.
Organic
Would a architect provide you with a drawn floor plan and then you would draw it up in auto cad? If you were doing additions/renovations to a building possibly. You might be able to source the original flood plans, draw them up digitally, then add on the additions/renovations from there. Most of the time you would be working from simple hand drawn sketches.
