spinecad Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I create a helix, two turns, base diameter = top diameter = 3, helix height (each turn) = 2. Why when I look it from the top view, its shape is not a perfect circle? Should it be a perfect circle when it looks from the top view, isn't it? How to make it perfect circle when it looks from the top view? Thank you Quote
ReMark Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Maybe it has something to do with the orientation of your uCS when you created the helix? OK...I think I see what you are referring to as I just reproduced the problem. I'm not sure there is a solution. It is what it is. Quote
JD Mather Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 .... I'm not sure there is a solution. Autodesk Inventor. Quote
ReMark Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Let me rephrase that. I am not sure there is an AUTOCAD solution. Quote
