Couple of questions

I'm using R14 for industrial maintenance on my PC. Here are my questions:

3. I am only able to plot to A2 (8.5" x 11") paper, so how can I enlarge my DIM's so that they are ledgible when the drawing is scaled to fit on the page? For example, I had to draw a 93" door frame opening so I could plan for replacing double bifold doors with three standard pre-hung doors, and needed to calculate the stud spacing, etc. When I zoomed on the screen, everything was ledgible & fine, but when I plotted to my A2 paper, I needed a magnifying glass to read the dims. I tried editing the DIM text, but was limited to what it would accept, and it was not readable.

Guess I must be even lower on the scale than "Newbie", cause I've never even heard of the "DIMTXT" command before, but I just tried it and it sure works great!!

Don't worry about being a "newbie". We weren't born with an innate knowledge of AutoCAD. Anyway, if you're serious about CAD it becomes a life-long learning process. I learn new things about AutoCAD almost every day.
