Change your UCS and try each of the two programs - The first will return values in WCS, i.e. the same values will be returned regardless of your UCS settings. The second will return values expressed relative to the active UCS. Would these also work in paperspace? We can do coordinate dimensions in paperspace as we always work from a set Datum 0,0...
