JD Mather Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Maybe this image will help. I want to rotate the brown face around the green hinge line at the "bottom" of the part. I start the command and select the brown face. Press Enter. Select the vertex of the white (imaginary) line and the yellow line. Click the point at the other end of the line that represents the rotation radious (actually any point along that line will work). Enter the desired angle (negative or minus depending on design intent). Quote
balimela Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Thanks Mr JDM for your valued reply. But I know the general tapering command and can do the same way you have shown in the above sketch. My problem is with my drawings which I have uploaded. Why the same steps of command when applied to it, it gives error. The steps What I have followed has been attached in a simple word file (Steps of tapering command.docx). If you can do(apply) the same command on my drawing to have the intended results then please upload so that I can check where I was gone wrong. in case of upload, Request you to upload in 2012 version as I am not having the latest version. I could not see your uploaded file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lgl3q402esi718h/Steps%20of%20tapering%20command.docx Regards Quote
