Diesel
I keep getting this one not error but it says: Annotative Objects that don't support the current annotative scale will be hidden. On this one dwg is not reading the line weight. It works on every other dwg. Thanks Edited September 18, 2013 by Diesel
Tuns
Is it a drawing from outside your company? Can you be a bit more descriptive about the issue?
Diesel
This is one of my companies dwgs. My Boss actually saved this dwg to his computer and made some changes and then save it back to the server. I had to go in and change the line type on a block and it only happens on this dwg Autocad appears with this message: Annotative Objects that don't support the current annotative scale will be hidden. Tuns
Try ANNOALLVISIBLE = 1 Or ANNOAUTOSCALE
Diesel
It is already set to
Diesel
Could it be ANNOAUTOSCALE Thanks
Tuns
You can do that or ANNOALLVISIBLE. Why did he change an annotative scale? He shouldn't have messed with it.
Diesel
He didn't change anything that I have seen yet
Tuns
So did any of those commands work or do you still have that issue?
Diesel
I still have the issue...
Diesel
I changed the line weight in the block and the dwg just doesn't update to the new line weight
Tuns
Can you see the annotations in block editor? Ask your boss if he changed any of the annotations.
Diesel
I did and he said no. Well it's only noticeable when you pdf and zoom way in to the block...
Tuns
Only thing I can think of is the file somehow got corrupted. If it isn't really noticeable then I wouldn't worry about it much.
rkent
You have two separate issues. The annotative message and the line weight issue. The annotative message isn't an error, just a message letting you know to change the annotative scale if you want to see the objects. The line weight issue may be as easy as picking the LWT icon at the bottom of the screen, or LWDISPLAY set to on.
Diesel
I have tried both of them already but thank you.
SLW210
Have you tried an Audit on the drawing? You might try restarting AutoCAD and/or Computer.
