Dadgad
You could always create a block of any hatch, and place it on a tool palette and name it HATCHES, then you could just drag whichever one you want into any drawing. You might also want to look at a few of the HATCH related system variable settings which I have highlighted in the screenshot from my SYSVDLG box. Most of the system variables preceeded by an HP in the screenshot control Hatch Property behavior. If you flip through the list, you may find some you would choose to personalize, such as default hatch pattern, color and scale. I also like HPGAPTOL which defines the threshold allowable gap when hatching nonclosed areas.
steven-g
+1 As Dadgad says, put the hatch onto a toolpalette, in the properties in the toolpalette you can set everything like scale color rotation layer, so having a couple of buttons you could use the same hatch but with different properties.
