Hi,

I have set a short cut key (F1) to work as offset but it now opens help and starts the offset command?

I have the my main cui and a partial cui and I have tried putting the offset command in both the main and partial cui and It has the same effect.

I found a macro in the help menu and deleted that but has no effect?

Autocad LT 2014

would be glad for any help.

Still no further forward. I'm convinced it the windows 7 operating system that's launching the autocad help file as I've searched the cui and there is no macro present to launch help and also in the standard list in autocad 2014 Lt F1 is missing in the list of keyboard short cuts where it is present in previous versions.

Your profile lists AutoCAD 2007. Time to update it?

So the tweak worked in AutoCAD 2007 but does not work in AutoCAD 2014. Is that what you are saying?

Hi remark, thanks for the response and yes, I am following same method. I had a few cui loaded in so thought that is what might have caused it but I tried putting the shortcut in the main cui and then each of the partial cui's but to no availe. The en result is I hit f1 and acad help open I close the help window and I am straight into the offset command without pressing anything so it is obviously seeing my macro but it is also opening the help file at same time.

This wasn't an issue in 2006, 2007 or 2008. I am now on 2014 lt and have updated my profile. Thanks for the suggestion.
