warbirt Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 By default Autocad's origin for a new hatch pattern is at 0,0,0. If your drawing is a long distance from 0 co-ordinates this leads to odd looking hatch patterns. I know you can manually change each of the hatch origin points or alter the HPORIGINMODE to start at a particular point of the rectangular extents of the hatch boundary. However I am wondering if there is a way to set the HPORIGNMODE to begin at current UCS rather than hatch boundary? Quote
warbirt Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 Sorry.. Also is there a way to alter the hatch origin of all hatches already in a drawing without having to select them all? Quote
BIGAL Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Concrete & Gravel are two hatches that do not like MGA co-ords relative to an origin at 0,0 generally only need to set origin once. Part 2 change all origin points to say 1 a quick dump reveals Origin (0,0,0) so a collection of hatches and then just vla-put-origin to a point should do it will see if I can find time. Non program just use Filter and set origin Quote
