tzframpton Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 What is O.D of 8" Pipe? Which Schedule that you use? http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/ansi-steel-pipes-d_305.html Also, draw to actual dimension but label as nominal. For accuracy in coordination is all. Quote
NH3man! Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 8.625 for Schedule 40 pipe. Same for all Schedules and for all nominal pipe for that matter. Inside dia. is what changes. Quote
ReMark Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Senga: One must pay attention to O.D. when the pipe size is greater than 12 inches for example while a 12" pipe has an O.D. of 12.750 a 14" pipe has an O.D. of 14". Quote
