CSV to contour file in AUTO Cad Civil 3D

Hello,

 

Please send any lisp file to create contour in autocad civil 3d or tell any method to create contour through CSV file.

What is the meaning of data in that file?

 

The easiest approach will be to create a script (simple ASCII file with SCR extension containing successions of commands and inputs) from that data and run it into AutoCAD (check SCRIPT command). A simple example:

10.0,0.0
10.0,5.0
0.0,5.0

If you have Civil 3D, you don't need a lisp file or script file, but you do need to learn how to create a surface and apply the proper style to it in order to show the contours like you desire.

 

Basic steps:

1. Create a new surface

2. Add the defining data to the surface (points, breaklines, etc.)

3. Configure the surface style to show contours
