longcrier
I've read several of the posts including this one - http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18444&highlight=cut+paste I downloaded the files, but still nothing. I'm not saving as an earlier version or using anything from an earlier version. The command line acts as usual, but the objects don't paste. All layers are on and thawed and all. Thanks
ReMark
What did you actually download and install if I may ask? Problems with cut & paste usually manifest themselves when a drawing is created in a higher version of AutoCAD and it is saved as in a lower version. Prime example: 2007 drawing saved in 2000 file format. Did you try the Repair option off your installation CD/DVD?
longcrier
It tossed my lengthy response because I can't paste the link to what I downloaded. Basically I'm trying to copy the sheet title and page number from one layout to another so I can just edit the page number and not have to create, justify, size, and place the text for every sheet. I downloaded TrueView 2008 from autodesk. The most curious thing is that once I get to about sheet four I can cut and paste away. It always acts like it's working, but nothing shows up. I've been doing sheet labels and numbers like this for years?
