vcabral Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Hi there I am using autocad architecture 2009, but this happens also in previous 2008. when you draw a ray shall we say from any point with any rotation but ortho (45 degrees included) and after a zoom extends or zoom out, when zooming in, the ray apears to change orientation in realtime, it seems it became alive rotating at the same time as i doing a zoom , you can after, select the same ray, by clicking in the empty place where you know it should be. Now try to use ray in these conditions working in a 3d model, its insane... Does anyone have any idea how to solve this display list problem. Thank you Quote
mjh Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I just got a new computer at work w/ autocad 2009 on windows vista basic O.S., and it's doing this too. Has anyone found a fix for this? Quote
mjh Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Nevermind, I found someone with a similar problem @ Autodesk. They said, "Actually it turns out, the combo of the laptop, Windows Vista, and Autocad 2009 did not like the "Hardware Acceleration" toggle turned on. Once we turned that off, it zoomed properly." I turned of the Hardware Acceleration, and sure enough, that fixed it. I guess my Graphics Card is too new. It still doesn't show up on the certified list yet. ATI Radeon HD 3450. Quote
