Strix Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 and you've zoomed out in the model view? isn't that a font file? is there anything missing from the layout at all? usually missing fonts are replaced by a proxy font Quote

We deal with a number of clients who use vectorworks and it has never been a problem before. thanks CTR Quote
Strix Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I have no idea do you know whether they've saved it in 2D or 3D? (just prodding round elsewhere on the net) Quote
dbroada Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 shx are shape files. They will often be used to define a font but they can also be used to define linetypes. Usually something else will be substituted but it is possible that the substitute is totally unsuitable for the job. Quote
Strix Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 so would the supply of the appropriate files fix the problem DB? Quote
dbroada Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 so would the supply of the appropriate files fix the problem DB? maybe, maybe not but it would rule out the possibility that it is the cause of the problem. Quote
christreeroot Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 We have got this sorted, the problem is with the company who have carried out the topo survey. They have not edited the data to tidy it up. This is being found more and more as people drop prices to compete for the little amount of work out there. The first thing to suffer of course is the quality Quote
