Bill_Myron Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Using the Total Area lisp of Lee Mac here. It works great, but I was wondering if its possible to add units after the "rtos" display such as sq. meters or Ha? As well, all our drafting is done in meters, so all our areas come out as m2. Is possible to add a factor to the area to read Ha? (Multiply by .0001)? Thanks! Quote
Tharwat Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 You can use the strcat function to add any string to a string . Quote
Bill_Myron Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) Boom!! That was easy. Here is what I have and it works. Found out you can add a few superscripts to notepad. (prompt (strcat "\nTotal Area = " (rtos a 2) " m²")) Displays: Total Area = 0.20 m² Edited January 27, 2015 by Bill_Myron Quote
Bill_Myron Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) Figured out the other part too. Added another setq and adjusted the strcat accordingly. (setq b (* a 0.0001)) (prompt (strcat "\nTotal Area = " (rtos a 2) " m² " "/ " (rtos b 2) " Ha")) Displays: Total Area = 151081.15 m² / 15.11 Ha Thanks again to Lee Mac for the original program.
