enthralled
I'm encountering a problem similar to one discussed here. While the original issue involved knowing the elevations at the start and end of a 3D polyline only, in my situation I have elevations provided at random vertices along the 3D polyline. Currently, my 3D polyline lacks elevation data, but I've been using Stefan BMR's "fix3dpoly" tool to apply elevations from points to overlapping vertices on the 3D polyline. However, this leaves me with vertices without elevation. Is there a way to interpolate the elevations for these remaining vertices based on their proximity to the points with known elevations, using a method similar to what was suggested for the original poster? enthralled
Nevermind, and thanks. I found my answer here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/interpolate-vertex-elevation-on-3d-polylines/td-p/6536727
