Is there a way to change AutoCAD versions that Debug uses?

I have VS 2010 C Sharp express and my program debug is set for AutoCAD 2014. I want

it to work on AutoCAD 2013.

Is there a way I can reset that with VS express?

Thank you,

There are only two ways, using Express, that I know of:

1 - Add a new AutoCAD .NET Wizard Project to your Solution, targeting 2013, and copy in your code.

2 - Manually modify the .[cs/vb]Proj.User (XML) file's StartProgram XmlNode's value.

Cheers

Do I need a text editor to do option 2?

How do I edit that file?

Once I am in the file do I change Acad 2014 to Acad 2013 or something like that?

Thank you,

A project's .csproj, and .csproj.user files are just XML, so any text editor will do (Visual Studio, Notepad, Notepad++, etc).

You should see the file path for 2014 listed within the nodes; just swap the file path for the correct one pointing to 2013.

Cheers
