User Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Anybody ever have this message show up in a dialog box inside of AutoCAD? It shows up when I try to edit the drawing setup through the project menu. I have to click the OK button 7 times before it will display the drawing setup dialog box. However, when the box finally shows up, I am unable to edit anything. Anyone had this problem? It is really getting to be annoying. I am restricted in my drawings. I cannot change the scale of the drawings, or any of the other options that I used to change in the drawing setup menu. When it first started I was able to change a file path that exceeded 128 chars, but it messed up a bunch of other settings, so I defaulted back. I am in an office with a number of people that are running the same version of AutoCAD, on the same build of computers. Thanks in advance for any advice. Quote

ReMark Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 It's a limitation of the application. You'll have to move your project files up closer to the root file. This must be a network deployment, right? What is the exact path? Do any of the folders have appended names such as .WINNT? Quote
