therealjd
I didn't think this was possible, but I have this in my civil 3d ribbon. The points just seems to point to a menu item, so how did they do this?
Dadgad
Points is a drop down menu (slideout), on which the Miscellaneous is either the default starting point, has been contextually defaulted to, because it was the last one used, or you selected it. You can do this in the CUI, and create new drop downs if you want, or create a button like this on Ribbon panels, or even toolbars. Does that help, or make sense to you? Perhaps I have misunderstood your question? I will post a graphic in a few minutes. You can create new panels, sub-panels, drop-downs, and a few others if you are so inclined.
