Wipeout in Xrefs

Here's my dilemma: On one DWG, I have an elevation that has certain blocks. In these blocks, i've created a wipeout that is under a letter. These blocks on my elevation are OVER my Building's lines. I, then bring this elevation as an Xref to another DWG, that i will use to make my viewports. On my paperspace I've created 2 different viewports of the same elevation(wich is an Xref). On one viewport, i don't wanna show the blocks i created, and in the other viewport, i wanna show these blocks. The problem is, in the viewport on wich i don't wanna see these blocks, when i freeze the layer on wich my block is defined to, the wipeout still hides the lines of the building... I don't know if this is very clear.

Please help!

P.S.: this is actually my coworker's problem, he likes to complicate thins. LOL!

Check in what layer is the wipeout. You might be turning off the layer where the linework in the block is but not the layer where the wipeout is.

also type TF ( for toggle frames) to see the frame of the wipeout.

This makes sense. Just turn off the layer, VP freeze, which the wipeouts are on.
