addesigns
Quick Question. I am not able to draw outside of the titleblock border in paperspace. It will show the line as it is extending but it wont let me make a final click and layout a line. If I stop the line within the border it works just fine. Any ideas? Squirltech
Sounds like you're working within a viewport. Double click outside of your border, then try your LINE command.
addesigns
I wish I could say that were true. I do not have the viewport active, also if it were true, the line dissapears when you move outside of the viewport extents. That is what I was thinking at first. Next!!!! Dana W
Check how many viewports you have on top of each other. Can happen. Execute the command PSPACE and then try your line.

addesigns
I was not able to figure it out. Just wanted to let everyone know. I wish I had an answer for you but I do not. I have much experience with AutoCAD and can always find the solution but this one is just some small quirk. Its not a big deal that I am not able to draw outside of the border in paperspace it was just bothering me.
RobDraw
Post a file that exhibits the same behavior. We can only guess without it.
ReMark
The only way to get an answer to your question is to attach a copy of the drawing to a subsequent post. However, it seems you are not interested enough to find a real solution to the problem so I guess we are finished here. Yes? No? Maybe? addesigns
I wish I could but there attachments, xrefs and blocks. Aside from that I dont feel like losing my job over it since all the projects are confidential. Otherwise I would
RobDraw
That is why I said: Post a file that exhibits the same behavior. We don't need any part of what you are drawing, just a paper space layout that doesn't let you draw past the border.
rlx
It really is like these guys saying , if we have no more info it is very hard to tell what is wong. The only thing I could add is that , in my experience , now and again a drawing gets messed up. Try to start with a new drawing and than rebuilt it bit by bit , with copy paste / wblock / audit etc. Until you find the part that messes up your drawing. Start with a blanco layout and rebuilt it from there. If you want more help , sent the drawing , as suggested , maybe only the layout. Aks your employer , tell him somethings wrong with the file , that it may be corrupt. Maybe your drawing is protected by some kind of reactor? Try the 'steal' program from Lee to import parts from the drawing to a new drawing. Good luck Edited August 11, 2015 by Cad64 Removed Profanity
