Attributed text visibility in xrefs?

Hi everyone, I'm using AutoCAD 2006 and I have a quick question. I use attributed text in my door blocks to designate the size of the door, but sometimes I need to explode the block to change certain things. When I explode the block, the attributed text doesn't show up in the files that xref files with that door block in it. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks in advance!

Ok mate rather than Exploding the blocks use a the BURST command and it will work ok for you. Merry Xmas dude :D
