rkmcswain
Do you mean actually scale the drawing entities, or do you just want to create a layout, or sheet that makes the model appear at 1:4 scale?
michaelzandi
Hello friend, thanks for responding. I have drawn a part in 1:1 (MM) and would like to convert this drawing or the size to 1:4 scale, another words to increase the size of the object 4 time larger but keep the actual drawing dimension to original scale of 1:1. I assume the answer to your question is "or sheet that makes the model appear at 1:4 scale?" I thank you very much.
BIGAL
Go to a layout insert your title block at true size 1:1 so it matches the sheet size you set it up for, if you dont have 1, say draw a box 420x297 A3 then use mview to create a view within then jump into that view do a zoom e, if you have the Vieports toolbar open it will show a scale you can use the drop down arrow to pick a scale. 1:4 should be there. Dadgad
Welcome to CADTutor Michael. Glad to hear that you did your drawing full sized, typically the scale would be applied through the use of a Paperspace viewport, as BIGAL suggested. Once you position your drawing in the viewport and have set the scale which you want to use, be sure to LOCK YOUR VIEWPORT SCALE, or you will very soon wish that you had.
