ReMark
What were you doing when the error occurred? Seems like you have a corrupted drawing. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Internal-Error-saveres-cpp-154-eFilerError-in-AutoCAD.html
anteater
the drawing opens but as soon as i try to save it i get this message "internal error saveres.cpp@154" and the application closes.
anteater
I have also tried saving it to DXF but the same error appears...
ReMark
Did you try using the RECOVER command?
anteater
it initiates but again the error comes up

ReMark
Can you attach a copy of the drawing file to your next post? I'd like to take a shot at it. No promises though. Sounds like it may be corrupted beyond salvaging. Don't you have a backup copy or a .bak file you can resurrect?
anteater
I cannot attach it, the dwg size is 1.3 mb and the limit is just 1mb. resurrect the .bak file, you mean i should delete it and then try again ?
anteater
i have a .bak file its about 1.2 mb
anteater
is there any other way of sending you the file?
ReMark
Why? It's corrupted. What are the chances it can be salvaged? Do you have a .bak file for the drawing?
CAD USER
Try to make write block, it's may help you...

ReMark
So you can open the drawing after all? You just can't edit then save the drawing is that it?

ReMark
Have you tried doing a "saveas" under a different file name? Have you tried CAD USER's suggestion re: WBlock? Have you tried doing a copy/paste to a new drawing?
anteater
Yea i tried "Save as" and "Wblock" as well. its still the same error . "Internal Error: !saveres.cpp@154: eFilerError"
