sippyCUP Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Hey guys, I am using AutoCAD to create a model for flow modelling. I am trying to create a box and put a circle on one face, then export to stl using STLOUT. The hole is meant to represent a fluid inlet. Unfortunately, it looks like STLOUT will only export a single solid. I tried using subtract to remove the "hole" from the box and hopefully generate a single solid, but it complained that the circle was not a solid or region. As you can see this is a mind boggling easy geometry, but I'm missing some crucial bit of knowledge about how to actually make it. Any ideas? Thanks, Eric Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I think you picked extrude faces instead of extrude. Enter EXTRUDE into the command line to be sure. Quote
