acemasi Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Can i add or incorporated more plug-ins to the four thats currently AutoCad 2005 supports? (Those were Dim. Style, Layers, Linetypes & Text styles) If its possible, how can i implement them? Is it something to do with DLL extensions in AUtoCad software's root installation directory? Why i'm asking these questions is just because i've been trying to minimise time in checking for consistency through the whole set of dwgs (like i'm with a consulting company that produces around 50-100 dwgs per day? I was thinking of incorporating a dictionary of technical terms which i made specially for my company. Anyone? Quote
CarlB Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Not sure what consistency you're checking for and what you'd like to implement. You mention 4 "plug-ins"; those you listed have information stored in "tables", but there are others like VIEW, VPORT, & UCS. If you want to spell-check for specific technical terms you can create a custom dictionary for that. Quote

Consistency in the sense that what ever you set in your Standard Checker, it will check throughout the set of dwgs in a project. As for the custom dictionary it was aleady made in Excel format. Again my question is How can we intergrate or add on the dictionary, view, vport, & UCS to the ready-made 4 plug-ins that were already with the Standard Checker. thks ace Quote
acemasi Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Is there any standard Check application in ACAD 2008LT. Something like what we got in ACAD 2006. Quote
tzframpton Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Is there any standard Check application in ACAD 2008LT. Something like what we got in ACAD 2006. I don't know about LT, but type STANDARDS at the Command Line and see if the Configure Standards dialog box pops up. If it does then you're in luck. Quote
acemasi Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Hey, Stykface It doesn't work. thanks any other option? Quote
acemasi Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 I rememeber i ask this question one time on this forum but i'm going to repeat it again. Can we add on extra plug ins on the the standard checker in 2006 apart from the normal ones of Text style, Dim Style, Layers, & Line Types? Quote
Strix Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 We do have rules about starting multiple threads on the same subject. Please don't do it You have a much better chance of finding an answer if you don't spam with the same question. At best you'll find people ignore your other questions too! (and sorry, I don't know the answer) Quote
acemasi Posted August 11, 2008 Author Posted August 11, 2008 I'm sorry and i do apologise for breaking rules. It will never happen again. I will rest my case on standard checker here. No more on the above topic, i'll look elsewhere. Quote
