Dragmode not working with Quick Leader command

Hello All,

First time poster here… please bear with me. I’m using Civil 3D 2015, and have a problem with the Qleader command. I could use Mleader to work around the problem, but wish to understand what’s happening.

I’m using a closed filled arrowhead set to 0.1”. I have dragmode set to “Auto.” When I execute Qleader at any scale other that 1:1, dragmode does not work, I.E. I can’t see the arrowhead while positioning the leader, only the line. When I complete the command, if the leader was long enough, the arrowhead and leader are drawn properly. Note, the Mleader command does work for me in dragmode. I’ve tried changing the arrowhead size (0.8” for use at 1” = 10’), and switching the “Add scales to annotative objects” on and off, and Qleader seems to work in dragmode, showing the arrow, but when the command is completed, I only get a line! Please help me understand what’s going on! Thanks for your help.
