Veigas
I'm trying to convert several CAD drawings to Visio. What I have are floorplans in model space with about 8 rooms per floor, 4 floors. I need to put one room per page in Visio. What I have been doing is doing the chspace command after setting the whole floor into a viewport set to 1:1. I do a save as and have 1 drawing per room. I trim off all excess information so just the one room remains in paper space. (After much trial and error this ended up giving me the least errors) When I import the drawing into visio I can then scale it however I want to fit onto the page. I also purge the drawing and save it down to 2007 (again, trial and error says this is the version it has to be saved). Does this method sound like the best way to do this? Would like to see if anyone has a lot of experience importing LT drawings into Visio. Would love to hear of other methods that worked for you.
