kng
I created an assembly in inventor and THEN cut holes in it. Is there a way to either make drawings of the individual parts in the assembly (with the holes) or to incorporate these holes into the original parts? Thanks for the help. JD Mather
Inventor works like the real world - assembly level machining occurs after parts are put together (ie match machined holes). Assuming you want to avoid going back and doing it the right way you could create multiple drawings of the assembly and suppress those parts that you don't want to see in each drawing. The result will be a drawing of each individual part as machined. You should have posted this question in the Inventor area of this site.
