Are you following the procedure for posting images outlined HERE?

here is my attempt at 3d, any ideas on how to make it look half decent would me most appreciated :-)

Well it looks shaded as opposed to rendered but for a warehouse does it have to look like a $4.0 million residence?

Raj: They're engineers not interior decorators. What do they care if it is rendered or not? They'll pretty damned impressed just to see it in 3D! LOL

Where are your lights? It doesn't look like you have any inside the building?

Where are your materials? It looks like you haven't applied any?

Also, can you save and post the actual render, rather than a screenshot? It's a little difficult to see what's going on in that little image. :unsure:

lol, there is a light there (somewhere) i havnt a clue how to aim it, i have attached the materials but they look rubbish, they are ones from the content browser palette

bloody hell my head is going to explode.lol, ive drawn some ductwork and attached some metal materials, but the reducers are staying the colour of the layer, not the material. any ideas?

A rendered image can be saved as a .jpg file I believe. I don't have 2009 open at the moment but look in the upper left hand corner. Does the word FILE appear there?
