Object Data to Attribute data help!

Hello all,

New to the forum.

I needed help creating a LISP that would get object data from closed polylines that I imported Via SHP file and link (convert?) them to attributes in a Title block.

So If I posted example drawings, etc, could anyone help me out?

I found another post about doing pretty much what I want, but with slight differences... I am trying to learn how to write LISP routines when I have time but unfortunately, I don't have much free time currently. So the learning process is slow going. lol

I could really use this LISP asap, so I figured if someone was able to create one or point me in a strong enough direction that a beginner could understand and start using quickly, I could compare that new LISP to the other LISP I found in a different post for comparison on what was changed to help my learning process.

and also have a LISP I can use and experiment with!

It would be GREATLY appreciated!

Let me know what all you would need and I can post them

I am assuming just the DWG and Title block, maybe a picture of the object data?

will post all of these plus more info on which data fields to link to which attributes if I get any interest :)

Thanks!

I’ve tried google with no luck :/ as well as asking friends, autodesk sites, etc... seems as though the best (or perhaps only) route is with a lisp routine, which unfortunately I don’t know how to write.... haha

Like BIGAL said the specific object data is pulled from the field same as it's shown in the Properties Palette. Without the drawing and what field field you want to pull there's no way anyone could help you. Keep in mind your GIS dept. probably doesn't store data the same as others do. Ours adds more data and modifies how it's stored every few years, FL DOT changes how their's is stored several times a year sometimes.
