Moving one end of a line down by X mm..

Hi all,

 

 

Using AutoCAD 2018

 

 

I have created a simple Pline in image below. I want to move the left hand grip using ortho, downwards by 100. Instead of moving the grip to that point, it changes the length of the pline to 100.

 

 

I was using 2017 before, and this never happened.

Anyone know how to change this?

I don't think you can do that with Dynmode on, turn it off and try again. Or hold F12 down to override dynmode and type 100 in while pulling the grip in the direction desired.

I changed the dynmode setting to 1.

Try using the STRETCH command.

With Dynamic Mode on using 2018 and when I hover over a grip it displays options to select either Stretch or Lengthen. After selecting the grip Tab toggles between input options including the line's angle as well.
