ammobake Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 use PURGE command, click Purge all. usually that's enough. But you might have nested layers it just depends whats referenced (if anything). Sometimes it's necessary to purge layers from other drawings too. For example, if you have 20 unused layers in a block you might not be able to purge the layer even though nothing in your drawing is on that layer. With hundreds of layers it can get pretty complicated if you're using blocks and XREF's, dynamic blocks, etc.. But usually not a huge deal.
