Siberian
When I deal with product families that are installed onto a wall, the family will often be wall hosted. This creates an issue for me as I only work with linked models and never within the architectural model itself - and so there is no wall. Is there a way around this issue? tzframpton
We always model our own stuff, and we never use hosting - period. If you want to continue downloading and re-using sub-par manufacturer's Families that are usually too cumbersome to understand or over-modeled or have unsatisfactory hosting issues, I would suggest this video: https://www.linkedin.com/learning/revit-tips-tricks-and-troubleshooting/convert-a-hosted-family-to-face-based-or-non-hosted-family Creating your own content that works and works right, or learning how to model content efficiently and quickly would help you greatly in Revit. -TZ
