inventor title blocks

I've got a title block that someone else made in Inventor that we're using for a company standard. The only problem is all of the attribute prompts are in no rational order. I know in AutoCAD i can rearrange the prompt orders, can that be done in Inventor?

There is not a reorder tool (or at least there wasn't in the last version I used). You can however cut and paste the prompts to reorder them. It is consuming but it should work.

In Inventor 2009 you do have the option to reorder these entries (I don't have a clue about previous versions).

In the Model tree of the idw file, you have a section called Title Blocks. In here you should see a title block. Right-click and select 'Reorder Prompted Entries'. The same should work for Sketched Symbols that have prompted entries.

 

You can also go to Help and type in Reorder Prompted Entries.

 

I've noticed that if you copy prompted entries from one sketch to another (to create a new title block for instance), the prompted entry order gets scrambled.
