cadmando-2
I am attempting to work on a Architectural project. Someone was showing me how to do MEP. my base project is Architectural drawing. I was told to put in sinks, toilets, refrigerator, dishwasher, Hot water heater, washer and dry on this project. I opened new project template as "mechanical" and link the project to do HVAC and plumbing. I question if I should only have "sinks, toilets, dishwasher, washer and hot water heater on this project. In my "Project browser" selected Plumbing>Floor Plans> 1-Plumbing. I was then instructed to place sink on top the existing sing just to be able to hook up my plumbing! Been doing AutoCAD over 30 years, this is my first time using Revit. I seem logical to my that "Plumbing>Floor Plans> 1-Plumbing" should only have plumbing fixture on this layer. am I wrong, or am I right. it doesn't seem right process to my. looking for video's for beginners for Architectural and MEP. I done HVAC on AutoCAD 2D so I figure out and I'm ok with that., Just know a little on Electrical and Plumbing. can anyone point me in the right direction? Looking for Video tutorials. Plus if I move what I did on the Mechanical template back you the first architectural under the HVAC project browser?
