LuizPadua
Hello everyone. I need to export several solids from a CAD file to STL. However, I need these solids in the STL files to be separated. When I use the STLOUT command in AutoCAD, the created STL file contains all the solids but joined together. Is there any way to export them without being all united in a single solid. The idea is to model them in other software and not print, so I need them separately in the STL format. Thanks Luiz
Cad64
I'm pretty sure you will need to export each solid individually and then import them into your other program. There is a discussion about this over at the Autodesk forums and someone created a lisp routine to do the exporting automatically. Take a look here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/need-help-with-an-stl-exporting-routine/td-p/8886935
