Bill Tillman
I'm working with AC 2021 and preparing a 3D rendering. I recall that there was a setting for the sky, with illumination, etc... but I can't seem to find where to set that. I set PERSPECTIVE to 1 and then opened up the skyproperties window. But all it shows is a time and date for the view. Sunproperties gives me no help either. Been so long since I worked with rendering so any advice would be appreciated. Cad64
Make sure your LIGHTINGUNITS variable is set to 1 or 2. This will give you a lot more options in the Sun Properties palette. Also make sure SUNSTATUS and SKYSTATUS are both set to 1.
Bill Tillman
Thanks. They certainly changed a lot of the settings in the last few releases from AutoDesk.

I'm still using 2018, but yeah, it's a lot different than it used to be. It seems like they keep taking options away and leaving us with the bare minimum. I like having more control which is why I use other programs for 3D work.
