Tiger Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 what would be the goal of it? If you let us know what is the purpose, it would be much easier to come up with a solution. Quote
Trisha Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 I have a table that I want to convert to excel, and I must still be aibel to change the text! Quote
uddfl Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I've never done it before myself, but hopefully this does it: http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=5332 "If you need to transfer a table from an AutoCAD DWG drawing to Excel, just click on the table (a TABLE entity), then right-click on it and choose Export... from the context menu. The contents (data) from the table can be saved to a CSV format file - you can directly open this file in MS Excel" Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Sounds like you want a DATALINKed table. I'm not certain if these are available in LT, but properly configured you can have a datalinked table which can update with information from Excel and/or overwrite the information in the Excel file. Check the helpfile for more information, and check out this tutorial and let us know if it solves your problem or if you still have questions. Quote
