Text Justification in a flipped block

I have attached a datum marker block.  The problem I have with it is that when the block is flipped, using the flip option built into the block, and the text needs to be edited, the text gets all screwed up.

 

As inserted, it is right justified.  Once it is flipped, I can't figure out how to set the justification to change to left justified.  Currently, when we use it, all text must be added with the text on the left and then flipped.

 

Is there a way to fix this?  I have searched for a long time and can't find any answers.

You have to run ATTSYNC or make it a Multiline Text= yes Attribute.
