Sketch command

Hi everyone,

 

I would like to know if there is a way to sketch by holding down the mouse button and when releasing the mouse button the sketching stops, like paint etc.. .

The of autocad works a bit on my nervs.

would you believe the SKETCH command? you will need to fiddle with the increments and I find making it a polyline helps too.

Smaller increments result in smoother control but increase overall file size. Get too carried away and you could crash a marginal system.

First set SKPOLY to 1, then in Sketch you don't hold the mouse button down, just press once and start moving the mouse, press again to stop sketching, and watch the command line for prompts.
