DanT Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I went and plotted a set of drawings this morning which was about 17 pages. On two pages I ended up with these lines showing up that are not shown on the drawing. I tried unlocking, thawing, all layers even though they all showed up as on. I also tried panning to the side in the viewport to determine whether the line was coming from model space or paper space. When I did this the lines changed, as though they are drawn from the corner of my viewport to fixed points on the drawing. Why do the lines not show up in model or paper space, and why can't I get rid of them? Quote
ReMark Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Purge the drawing, save it, then plot again. What happens? Quote
DanT Posted February 6, 2009 Author Posted February 6, 2009 Yeah I tried that, also tried deleting the layout tab and then re-making it from scratch, none of that worked. The only thing that did work was w-blocking the drawing and then recreating all the layout tabs in the new file. Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Have you got any wipeouts in the drawing. I've had a similar problem in the past caused by wipeouts. Quote
ReMark Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Thank you for updating us DanT on the solution to your problem. I wonder what the cause was? Quote
