Good afternoon,

This is a daft question and I know I know the answer. A client is specifying saving files a AutoCAD Architecture, we work in vanilla AutoCAD, no need for our designs to be anything else. So silly question time (and I know the answer is 'no', but got to check), is there anything in the file that identifies which AutoCAD version produced it if you aren't using AEC objects and so on?

Ta.

To the best of my knowledge, like you say, no.

But with BricsCAD and Draftsight out there, there is no telling what Autodesk may sneak in there at some point.

If you have the proxy enablers for products then you dont get any messages, say Bricscad recognises made in CIV3D. I tried to find proxy objects at one stage and did not get far may be a answer out there.
