stenews
Hi to everyone, I'm trying to convert a .dwg file to an Autocad Inventor .step file I haven't AutoCad Inventor installed on my workstation so I'd like if some of you can make the conversion for me. I'm not a fun of Inventor and I use most of the time Autocad that's why I hope if you can make my drawing suitable for CNC machining step center. I appreciate any help, Stefano flangia_flex.dwg Edited October 29, 2021 by stenews

Thanks BIGAL you're right but I'm not going to make any Gcode a friend of mine will do it for me. I only need to give him a .stp file format of my previously .dwg drawing That's what I was looking for... I'll try to manage with AutoCad Mechanical I appreciate your help Edited October 30, 2021 by stenews
SLW210
It didn't convert very well here. Had some parts off in the distance. What is your friend using to convert? Most can use .dxf direct to the CNC software, most converters to G-Code as well. Perhaps, if possible, you could use a trial version of a newer AutoCAD to play around with it some. What version of Mechanical are you using?

SLW210
Your STEP looks the same as the one I did. Objects off into space some. I did IGES and it seems pretty good. As to what's better, check with the CNC person. flangia_flex.iges
