Hi, I'm having trouble finding a way to convert a few AutoCad .dwg files to .step files. From what I read i need AutoCad Mechanical to convert to step files but I don't have access to Mechanical.

Any help is appreciated, thanks, Rick

If you're a student you should be able to log into the Autodesk education community where you can download any Autodesk software for free.

Alternatively, you can download Fusion360 which is free for personal use.

In Fusion360 you can import your dwg files and then export to step format.
