nar456
Hi, I'm having trouble finding a way to convert a few AutoCad .dwg files to .step files. From what I read i need AutoCad Mechanical to convert to step files but I don't have access to Mechanical. Any help is appreciated, thanks, Rick
Cad64
If you're a student you should be able to log into the Autodesk education community where you can download any Autodesk software for free. https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview?sorting=featured&filters=individual#! Alternatively, you can download Fusion360 which is free for personal use. https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal In Fusion360 you can import your dwg files and then export to step format. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-import-DWG-files-into-Fusion-360.html https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-export-a-design-in-Fusion-360.html
