organetic
Hi Fellows! I use to import drawings that have all objects/entities on layer 0. Everyone of them are in white color. Using a script, I've found a way to create new layers with diferent colors, assign color bylayer and move entities to that layers. The problem is that every entities are still in white, even after moved to a layer with a diferent color. I wonder if there's a command that does the same as the color control feature in the properties toolbar because this is the only way I manage to change colors of old objects. Thanks for your cooperation, Org
lpseifert
You mention that the entities were edited to color "Bylayer" but don't assume the color of the layer they were moved to. Are these entities blocks? Have you tried the Chprop command? Command: chprop Select objects: all 606 found 547 were not in current space. Select objects: Enter property to change [Color/LAyer/LType/ltScale/LWeight/Thickness/Material/Annotative]: c New color [Truecolor/COlorbook] : Bylayer If you have entities on layout tabs, you'll need to run it for each tab + Model space.
